🌎✨ Our 3rd graders have been busy preparing for the STAAR test through some friendly competition during their 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗔𝗥 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀! Each class represented a different country—Team USA, Team Jamaica, and more—working hard while having a blast. Today, they wrapped up their Olympic journey with bubbles, tug-of-war, snow cones, and a special visit from our friends at 𝗗𝗣𝗦! 🚓🍧 Thank you to our DPS Troopers for joining the fun and helping make the day extra special! #CaldwellProud #CaldwellISD

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗭𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗱𝗻𝘆 After 36 years of dedicated service to Caldwell ISD, Becky Zavodny is retiring! Mrs. Zavodny has worn many hats throughout her incredible career. She began at Caldwell Intermediate School, teaching 4th grade for 8 years. She then moved to Caldwell Elementary School, where she taught 1st grade for 2 years and 2nd grade for 4 years. For the last 22 years, she has served as a Reading Specialist and Dyslexia Interventionist, impacting countless young readers and their families. Her passion for literacy and her unwavering commitment to her students have left a lasting legacy in our district. We are so grateful for her years of service and wish her the very best in retirement! 💛📚🎉 #CaldwellProud #CaldwellISD

📚✨ The CHS Creative Writing Class of 2025 brought their stories to life today! After studying the art of children’s literature, our seniors worked in pairs to plan, draft, and publish their own original picture books — with some even illustrating their stories by hand! 🖍️📖 Today, they shared their finished books with kindergarteners at CES, making for a magical day full of imagination, storytelling, and smiles! #CaldwellProud #CaldwellISD
