Grant Opportunities
The Caldwell Education and Leadership Foundation provides opportunities to teachers to apply for grants to enhance students' educational experience. There are two ways teachers can apply for a grant, one way is with the CELF Grant, which can be a Mini-Grant or a Mega-Grant. These grants are able to be awarded with the CELF Fundraiser events, such as the Annual Crawfish Boil.
The two types of CELF grants are the Mega Grant, which is a grant over $500, and the Mini Grant, which is under $500.
The 2024-2025 Grant Application Is Now OPEN! The deadline to submit your application is Friday, December 6th at 4:00 PM.
Teachers can also apply for a Donors Choose Project, which CELF will promote and contribute CELF funds in order for a teacher's project to be funded. Before you create your project on Donors Choose, you must first complete the application for approval from CISD. Please complete the application for Donors Choose and submit to CISD Director of Communications, Tammie Novosad at tnovosad@caldwellisd.net. Once your application is approved by the Superintendent, Tammie Novosad will contact you to proceed with creating your project on the Caldwell ISD Donors Choose page found at View Donors Choose.
